Andrew Litton, conductor, piano and artistic advisor

MAHLER / Piano Quartet in A minor
MAHLER / Symphony No. 6, “Tragic”

This all Mahler program features Andrew Litton on piano in Mahler’s Piano Quartet followed by Maestro Litton conducting Mahler’s Sixth Symphony in a gripping program that explores the most classical – and perhaps the most sinister – of Mahler’s masterpieces. The Sixth is Mahler’s vision into the future, a sweeping exploration of the inescapability of fate.
