MENDELSSOHN / Elijah

Mendelssohn’s tremendous Biblical oratorio tells the stirring story of the
prophet and miracle worker Elijah. An instant success at its 1846 premiere,
audiences continue to embrace it for its sheer power, evocative imagery and
ability to inspire emotional empathy. Canadian baritone Nathan Berg shines
in the title role.
