Pictures at an Exhibition, Mussorgsky's rich, intense, and very Russian masterpiece is a perfect match for the talents of conductor Jayce Ogren, who has been hailed by audiences everywhere in terms of both geography and genre: conducting West Side Story in London, My Fair Lady in Paris, and Rufus Wainright with the Toronto Symphony. Similarly versatile, Colorado Symphony Associate Concertmaster Claude Sim performs Aram Khachaturian's Violin Concerto which showcases Sim's boundless energy and flawless technique.

Don't forget to arrive early for the prelude at 6:30 pm hosted by Catherine Beeson. Preludes are insightful discussions that take place before each Masterworks performance and are included with your concert ticket. For my information about the different types of preludes, CLICK HERE.
