James hand-picked the songs for these three concerts with guest conductor Teddy Abrams, music director for the Louisville Orchestra, and came up with a career-spanning set of numbers from Bernstein's best-known works -- West Side Story and On the Town among them -- alongside selections from less celebrated gems like Mass and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The shows promise a deep dive into the varied repertoire of one of the most illustrious American composers and songwriters of all time, paired with James' soaring voice.
