Music Director Brett Mitchell and pianist Natasha Paremski take stage for their Red Rocks debut with your Colorado Symphony! Brett leads the orchestra through this stellar evening under the stars including a celebratory nod to Leonard Bernstein's centennial anniversary in Overture from Candide while Natasha performs the thrilling centerpiece of the program, Rachmaninoff’s wildly popular Piano Concerto No. 2. The night concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, one of his most popular symphonies. The night will showcase your Colorado Symphony performing incredibly powerful classical repertoire spotlighting Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre as a truly stellar, acoustically-sound, world-renowned outdoor venue.

Accompanying this musical performance, concert attendees will witness the release of artist Stuart Semple's floating sculptures, Happy Clouds, within the amphitheatre's natural landscape. This visual artwork is provided in partnership with the Denver Theatre District's Happy City: Art for the People initiative (May 18 - June 30).
