The Colorado Symphony Family Series is the ideal introduction to the magical world of the orchestra for the young and the young at heart. Join us for this entertaining series featuring the best of symphonic music in settings sure to capture the imagination! With everything from the zany fun of our annual Halloween Spooktacular to the delightful and silly perennial favorite Drums of the World, and a special showing of the Pirates of the Symphony Seas — featuring members of local Buntport Theater — the Family Series is sure to entertain even the newest symphony fan.

Marimba, bongos, bass drums, woodblocks, log drums, boo-bams, Chinese cymbals, metal trash cans, darabukkas, talking drums, plastic pipe, acoustic guitar, toy trumpet, table spoons, Burma gongs, water can, crow call, tambourine, gankogui, and sleigh bells! These are just some of the percussion instruments that the virtuoso percussionists of the Colorado Symphony will be using in this dynamic concert that is fun for the entire family.
