Marimba, bongos, bass drums, woodblocks, log drums, boo-bams, Chinese cymbals, metal trash cans, darabukkas, talking drums, plastic pipe, acoustic guitar, toy trumpet, table spoons, Burma gongs, water can, crow call, tambourine, gankogui, and sleigh bells! These are just some of the instruments that the virtuoso percussionists of the Colorado Symphony will be using in this dynamic concert that is fun for the entire family.

Pre-Concert Activities
Join us for Half Notes, family-friendly pre-concert activities, one hour before the concert!
Held in the Bach Room of Boettcher Concert Hall, these activities take place prior to both Family and "family friendly' concerts like A Colorado Christmas and Carnival of the Animals. Activities are individually curated for each concert and will feature rotating activities like a composition station and an instrument petting zoo!
