Jack Black and Kyle Gass make up the Greatest Band in History: Tenacious D. They started playing together in Kyle's studio apartment on Cochran Avenue in Los Angeles. No one could have ever dreamed of where their genius would take them, but take them it did. Tenacious D played their first gig at Al's bar in downtown LA in '94 — they were armed with only one song at the time.
The band is touring in support of their latest release, the brilliant Post-Apocalypto, which is both an animated series and an album of rock ‘n’ roll greatness. Post-Apocalypto, the series, is an original, six-part animated video series from the minds of Tenacious D. Each frame of every episode was hand-drawn by Jack himself, with every character voiced by Black and Gass. For their Red Rocks debut, they join the Colorado Symphony for one night only!
