Description
Mozart & Now reimagines the traditional concert weekend experience with three unique performances contrasting the music of Mozart alongside contemporary works by some of today’s brightest composers, all led by Principal Conductor Peter Oundjian. On Friday and Saturday, hear four of Mozart’s most revered compositions including the indelible Symphony No. 36 and his Fifth Violin Concerto alongside modern works by Samuel Adams, Anna Clyne, and John Adams.
Sunday’s performance is an all-Mozart affair, combining the composer’s works from Friday and Saturday into a single showstopping performance. Your Colorado Symphony’s Associate Concertmaster Claude Sim will be featured across all three performances as soloist on the Samuel Chamber Concerto and Mozart Violin Concerto. Join us for your favorite program, or better yet, attend all three!
