Fusing rock, country, folk, R&B, blues and traditional Mexican sounds for forty years, Los Lobos have emerged from their self-ascribed status as the "soundtrack of the barrio" to become household names. Their debut may have been called Just Another Band from East L.A., but they've proven again and again that they aren't "just another" anything. True to form, the rockers are returning to their roots to perform an intimate, career-spanning acoustic set that sheds new light on old favorites. If Los Lobos has learned one thing in nearly four decades together, it’s that playing by the rules is not for them. They tried it for a while, said no thanks, and they’ve been better for it ever since.
