Mozart Under Moonlight
The Colorado Symphony presents “Mozart Under Moonlight” for one-night-only. Jayce Ogren, to conduct the Colorado Symphony after a wildly popular winter presentation of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition leads the orchestra on a glorious evening celebrating the most revered composer of all time. Colorado Symphony Principal Horn Michael Thornton performs works by two Mozarts: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s well-known Horn Concerto No. 3, then trades his French horn for an eight-foot alphorn for Sinfonia pastorella by Leopold, Wolfgang’s father. This performance is ticketed by The Arvada Center.
