Known as the most prominent spokesperson and leader in the American Civil Rights Movement, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. remains one of the most inspirational figures in history for his pursuit of equal rights and his nonviolent approach to civil rights protests. This year's performance, comes during the 50th Anniversary year of Dr. King's assassination. The evening will feature guest performances by Michael Chipman, Stephanie Hancock, and Rajdulari. In addition, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Colorado Holiday Commission will honor six recipients of the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award.
Admission is free, but tickets are required for admission. Tickets are available, in person, at the Boettcher Concert Hall Box Office beginning 2 weeks before the event. All seating is general admission and a ticket does not guarantee a seat.
